Dr. Ahmad Soboh, Chairman of the Yasser Arafat Foundation, welcomed a Mexican parliamentary delegation headed by Senator Gerardo Fernández, accompanied by Julio Escobedo, Deputy Ambassador of Mexico to Palestine, and other members of the delegation at the Yasser Arafat Museum on Sunday, October 26, 2025. The meeting was also attended by Mohammad Halaika, Director of the Yasser Arafat Museum.

During the visit, Dr. Soboh and the delegation discussed the latest developments in Palestine following the cessation of the genocide in Gaza, as well as the continuing Israeli occupation aggression in the West Bank and the expansion of colonial settlements. The two sides also reviewed bilateral relations between Palestine and Mexico in light of the current political situation.

Dr. Soboh then led the delegation on a guided tour of the museum, offering insights into the history of the Palestinian cause, the life and legacy of the founding president Yasser Arafat, and key milestones in the Palestinian national struggle.
